You missed A Child's Christmas in Wales and The Nutcracker (preferably the Northwest Ballet version) otherwise a good mix of the few very good, many very bad, and some truly ugly programmes

My favorite "dark" Christmas movie is "We're No Angels" (1955) featuring Humphrey Bogart, Peter Ustinov and Aldo Ray as three escapees from Devil's Island who help make Christmas special for a poor shop keeper (Leo G. Carroll) and his family by getting rid of the visiting obnoxious owner of the store (Basil Rathbone) and his nephew with the help of a little snake called Adolph. The movie was directed by Michael Curtiz ("Casablanca", "The Adventures Of Robin Hood") and also stars Joan Bennett and Gloria Talbert.
Smart, funny, and performed by a cast who really look like they enjoyed working together.
There are many more witty lines than those few listed in the IMDB quotes section and the film has aged well as society has become a little more sarcastic about the holiday season.
